Can’t get enough of your favorite green candy loving monster? Well, we have some good news: ZeptoLabs just announced an up coming release for starring Om Nom called cut the Rope Time Travel! No game play footage has been released yet beyond the pictures shown below, but given how awesome Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope Experiments are, we expect good things from Cut the Rope Time Travel.

It looks like Zeptolabs has jumped the gun on a Halloween themed level pack with the release of 25 new Cut the Rope Spooky Box levels. This update to the original Cut the Rope includes ghosts that can morph from one game play object to another. For example, in some levels if you tap a ghost they might turn into a bumper and if you tap them again they turn into a balloon. The secret to completing each level with all three stars figuring out which ghost ability to use at what time. It is a pretty simple concept that translates into a whole new level of game play. Zeptolabs manages to out do themselves level pack after level pack and Cut the Rope Spooky Box is no different.

On Nom Gets Super Powers… For a Price

Watch out! On Nom is about to get super powered! Zeptolab recently released the super power ability for Cut the Rope Experiments. On Nom’s super powers allow players to make the candy unbreakable and also move the candy around using On Nom’s new telekinetic powers. The powers can also be used to build force fields around objects.

When Om Nom’s super powers are activated the following changes occur:

Om Nom dons a funny hat made from an orange glove
The candy becomes unbreakable
An 4th candy appears that you are tasked with acquiring
The candy bounces off the edge of the screen and will not fall down
You can now tap the screen to create a circular telekentic force field, which can be used to push the candy around the screen.

Super powers is an in-app purchase, similar to the abilities in Rovio’s Angry Birds Facebook game. Pricing for superpowers is as follows:

20 Superpowers for $0.99
50 Superpowers for $1.99
150 Superpowers for $3.99
500 Superpowers for $7.99

So some might say this in game purchase is just a money grab by Zeptolab. Do you feel differently? I really don’t think the game needs an “I win” button. Most level packs are pretty easy to beat and I don’t see the super powers adding much else to the game.

Super power is now available for iOS and Android.

Since there has been a lull in Cut the Rope related news, I thought I would post about Bubble Safari on Facebook, your next addiction from Zygna. Within just two months of its release date, Bubble Safari has attracted over 25 million active monthly users and has become Facebook’s fastest growing game. So it seems a lot of other gamers would agree with me when I say this game is a lot fun!

Below is a trailer of Bubble Safari that includes some game play.

Bubble Safari is your basic connect three bubble popping game, but with great power-ups and a really loveable main character. The game follows the story of a chimp who much beat level after level to collect fruit in his adventure to rescue his girlfriend from the hands of some nasty poachers.

Bubble Safari takes the basic bubble popping mechanics and soups it up with some really cool power ups, arcade style mechanics, and social elements. Don’t let the simple mechanics fool you! This game gets very challenging fast and is a whole lot of fun to play! This is what I have been playing while I wait for the next Cut the Rope update to be released.

Bubble Safari is constantly being updated by Zygna with new levels and game mechanics. When the game was released there were 65 levels in total. Now there are over 77 levels and new and fun game mechanics.

Cut the Rope Cheats is proud to announce that our Cut the Rope DJ Box walkthrough is now online. In DJ Box, Zeptolab introduces the new record game play mechanic. The player can rotate records to help get three stars and deliver the candy to Om Nom. This sounds easier than it is, because all of the old Cut the Rope mechanics make an appearance making this update one of the most challenging to date. The records bring a new dimension of game play to Cut the Rope and make the DJ Box tons of fun.

Cut the Rope DJ Box has been simultaneously released for Android and iOS. The updates to the game are as follows:

New leaderboard and achievements
Various optimizations and improvements

iOS

New hidden Om Nom drawing to collect
New leaderboard and achievements
Various optimizations and improvements

I guess Android users don’t like hidden drawings, sad face. Hopefully, Zeptolab updates the Android version to include the hidden drawing.
