Leave it to Aztux Ltd. to launch a Cut the Rope knock off for the Blackberry App World. Cut the Cable is a physics based puzzler, which features a green frog. The goal of the game, as in Cut the Rope, is to get the candy that is placed somewhere on the screen to the frog. The candy is attached to one or more ropes cables that the use can cut. In addition, there are other devices that can be used to help get the candy to the frog. This story wouldn’t be news worthy if the imitation ended there. After all, there are tons of clones of popular games out there. What makes things worse in this case is that Aztux did not even bother with making new levels. They took level design bit by bit and slapped their crappy graphics on top of it. Just check out the blatant rip off of some of Cut the Rope’s levels below.
To add insult to injury, Aztux had the gull to charge 4 USD for their crapware when iOS users get the original game for just a buck.
